Never knew this was one of your ALL TIME favorite films. Alike we are!!! Sparkle is also one of my favorite classic flicks of all time. It was the first time I literally ever fell in love with Lonette McKee. To me she was the Beyonce of back in the day. She's so breathtakingly gorgeous and has some serious acting skills that I believe have been overlooked by mainstream Hollywood far too long! Also, the reason being I chose her as my lead character's mother for my project. Love, love, love Lonette Mckee and totally love the movie Sparkle. I actually just purchased it on DVD recently from Walmart.
